Dr. Maya KT graduated from Government Medical College in Mysore with a university rank and distinctions. She did her post-graduation (MS in ENT) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai, with a Gold Medal from the University of Mumbai. She is a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in ENT, and received a Gold Medal for this examination as well.

Dr. Maya KT trained in endoscopic sinus and nose surgeries for two years in Chennai. She has 20 years of experience in the field of ENT (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology).
